Kognitive Empathie

Cognitive empathy describes the ability to imagine, to understand and to simulate the experience of other people. This offers the possibility to use empathy for the objective recognition. The bachelor project considers empathy as a prerequisite for application-oriented design. In doing so, the thesis deliberately focuses not on the emotional, but on the cognitive aspect of empathy. The aim is to offer specific support for the use of empathy in the design process.
